Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for many things,
but one thing Tour West is thankful for is the early snow
in our mountains. For us the snow is what makes the dessert bloom,
and the rivers run. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday!View of Cascade Mountain from our office window.

Today has been a great day. We took a little time off today to vote. We hope everyone does the same and votes for the people they think will be the best for our country. We are thankful that we have the right to vote and in our area enjoyed watching the great turnout. It is even worth waiting in line to see people using their right to vote for their favorite. Now for us it is back to selling river trips. Have a great day everyone!

A little over a week ago we visited Grand Canyon Village on the South rim of the Grand Canyon. The weather was amazing. We spent most of the day in meetings with the Grand Canyon National Park Service, but at lunch we had a minute to visit the rim and with others from all over the world gasp in amazement of its size and beauty. From the rim you capture the enormity of the Grand Canyon, but from the river you see a micro version, which is just as amazing, but on a smaller stage. I am always amazed at how well the Grand Canyon National Park is protected and managed by the Park Service. It is a gift to the world!
