National (almost) deep freeze.

Wednesday, December 11th, 2013

We are in the deep freeze right now.  This is the corner on the way into out office.  Hope it warms up soon.  Next summer on the river, when it is warm and sunny, there will be no complaining from us.  We will love the warmth and being surrounded by the beautiful canyon walls.IMG_1786

Grand Canyon Rafting Beauty

Wednesday, December 4th, 2013

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words (or more).  The beauty of the Grand Canyon cannot be described in words.  You have to see it for yourself to get the pictures in your mind and heart.  Here is one of my favorite pictures from the bottom of the Grand Canyon.  Hope you enjoy!  This was taken by Joe Bennion.  If you love pottery google his name and check out his pottery.  Horseshoe Mountain Pottery.

Grand Canyon Rafting is exciting and fun, but there is amazing beauty!

Putting snow in the mountains today.

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013

Today as we work in the Tour West office, we are getting the first good snow of the season.  Love watching the water being put in our mountain banks for the coming summer.  It makes for great river running. This is what is happening to our cars while we are busy at work.  IMG_1764 IMG_1763
