Here is a picture of my Grand Canyon River stuff. The white shirt is perfect for the river. It is old. It has a hole in it. But it is cotton, lite, and will protect me from the sun. The sunglasses are an absolute. You also need something like the yellow chums to make sure you don’t loose your glasses in the river. The last is my pink hat. I always like pink on the river for some reason. My pony tail holds it on. If you don’t have a pony tail make sure you have a hat with a good tie on. Look for more exciting essential river stuff to be posted in the future!

One of the most pristine wilderness areas in our country is Cataract Canyon. The Colorado river runs through the beautiful Canyonlands National Park. There is an abundance of Indian ruins to enjoy. Fun hiking and exhilarating rapids for everyone. The Colorado river is free flowing (no dams) and allows people to choose to enjoy raging rapids during the spring runoff or wait to enjoy rafting at lower water levels. This is a beautiful river and we would love to share it with you.
